Born in Colombia (Ibagué, Tolima), I was raised in the middle of the endless Andes. I visited my grandmother at the tip of the mountain on Sundays during my childhood. I found myself captivated by the radiant colors, textures and flavors; from breathing the smoke of the charred firewood to taking a splash on a river that came out of the rocky gorge. Navigating this sensorial exploration served as my main source to approach everyday in my visual journey.
